It is through the generous contributions of our congregational family that Temple Emanuel is able to maintain and enhance our nationally recognized programs and nurture the spiritual lives of our members. Temple Emanuel needs your additional support because dues only cover 30% of the cost of running our synagogue. Giving opportunities include:
THE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN – The New Emanuel Capital Campaign is about restoring our original architect Sidney Eisenshtat's vision of sacred space while bringing modern sensibilities into our synagogue. In Phase I, we have renovated the Corwin Family Sanctuary and Greer Social Hall. In Phase II, we will expand our Early Childhood Center and enhance our community gathering areas. As we imagine our future, we are guided by our current architect, Mark Rios, who has challenged us to think about what makes a space sacred: the threshold that allows us to leave the everyday behind; a sense of awe; and a place that promotes reflection. THE PILLAR PROGRAM – Pillar Members at Temple Emanuel are truly the “Pillars” of our community. Through their generosity, Temple Emanuel is able to provide our outstanding educational, arts, cultural, and spiritual programs and services. SHABBAT UNPLUGGED AND SHABBAT B’YACHAD – Temple Emanuel is recognized nationally for its uplifting, joyful and inspiring musical worship services. If you want to end your week and welcome your Shabbat with an explosion of music and spirituality then give Shabbat Unplugged and Shabbat B’yachad a try. NEW EMANUEL MINYAN – Our Shabbat morning service is a thoughtful, contemplative adult experience with most of the liturgy sung in Hebrew, accompanied by wonderful English poetry and commentary.
