Why Membership?

“You strengthen the Jewish community and the world”

“We are a people in whom the past endures, in whom the present is inconceivable without moments gone by”.  Reform Judaism establishes that Judaism is current and relevant, not an heirloom.  “What happens once upon a time happens all the time”

Temple Emanuel has a rich and vibrant history as the largest reform congregation in Beverly Hills, California. We are more than just a house of worship; we are a vibrant and caring congregational family. We welcome your membership!

Pillar Program
Pillar Members at Temple Emanuel are truly the “Pillars” of our community. Through their generosity, Temple Emanuel is able to provide our outstanding educational, arts, cultural, and spiritual programs and services.

Pillar members make an extra contribution to our congregation over and above membership dues and fees. In appreciation for their contribution, Pillar members receive invitations to special events throughout the year. Pillars are also given special privileges, such as preferred complimentary parking on the High Holy Days, Pillar Pass-Priority entrance and seating for High Holy Days, name recognition on a plaque in the Temple, and special acknowledgement in Temple Topics. Most importantly, the generous support of our Pillar Members means we do not have to turn any Jewish family away.

For more information about becoming a Pillar Member, please contact Ellis Kirschenbaum, Executive Director, at ellis@tebh.org or 310.288.3737×224
