The mission of Temple Emanuel Academy Day School rests on four cornerstones: academic achievement, Jewish identity, community responsibility, and creative and individual expression. Instrumental to meeting these objectives are skilled and supportive teachers and administrators as well as involved parents who work together to create a nurturing and challenging environment for the students.
Our students are inspired to develop a love for learning and to achieve their individual academic potential in the following areas:
Academic Achievement
We challenge our students to achieve their highest academic potential through the development of critical thinking, analytical reasoning, technological skills, and creative expression.
Creative and Individual Expression
We provide diverse environments and modalities for learning, artistic outlets for creativity, and opportunities to shine in front of others. In this way our students develop a strong self-esteem and identity.
Jewish Identity
We introduce our students to Jewish texts, rituals, and stories to nourish their souls so they may begin to find their place in the world and give them a feeling of joy in their heritage as both Jews and Americans.
Community Responsibility
Students learn to care about others, help make the world a better place, and balance their individual needs with those of the broader community.
