In early 2015, Temple Emanuel created the Community Engagement & Social Justice Program as a way to support

the volunteer and philanthropic interests of our members. Six non-profit groups  have emerged, including:

Prison University Project    • One LA
Imagine LA    • Jewish World Watch
The MAJOR Fund    • Beverly Hills Public Works Department

Contact Rabbi Sarah Bassin at 310.409.4656 or at RabbiBassin@tebh.org if you are interested in:

  • learning more about the work Temple Emanuel does through our Community Engagement & Social Justice Program,
  • how to get involved as a volunteer, or
  • how these organizations are so intrinsically connected to our Jewish history and conscience, as well as our commitment to Tikkun Olam (repairing the world)
