Emanuel Arts Center
Ten years ago, with the support of Rabbi Laura Geller, Nili Kosmal envisioned producing and directing an annual musical that would involve Temple Emanuel members of all ages. The response that followed exceeded all expectations. Emanuel Arts Center was formed as we set out to "Illuminate Judaism through the arts." Our Intergenerational Production has run for ten successful years. Through this unique event, special friendships have been formed and a stronger Temple Emanuel community has emerged.
We are so fortunate to have Nili Kosmal continue with us as the director of our youth productions. Her passion, commitment, creativity, talent, and leadership are a rare gift.
Emanuel Arts Center also produces and sponsors various artistic endeavors throughout the year, including our Emanuel Arts Center play reading series (which last year featured The Last Seder starring Ed Asner and Cloris Leachman) and our Synergy chamber concert series (in partnership with The Center for Jewish Culture and Creativity).
Emanuel Arts Center’s president Franklin D. Tell and all of our amazingly dedicated volunteers help to make our dreams realities. Without them none of this would be possible. We sincerely hope that our community will continue to support the arts, so that we may maintain our quality programming and build for the future.
