Board of Directors
The activities and affairs of Temple Emanuel are managed by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors includes between fifteen and thirty-five voting members.
While the Board of Directors has ultimate authority over the Corporate Management of Temple Emanuel, it establishes and acts on all matters of policy of the Corporation.
There is a nominating process each year. Each Director is elected for a 2-year term and may serve four consecutive two-year terms. The Board of Directors meets a minimum of six times per year. The Board has the following officers: President; Treasurer; Secretary; Vice President for Youth and Education; Vice President for Membership; Vice President for Religious Activities; and Vice President of Resource Development. Collectively these officers, along with the immediate past President, form the Executive Committee of Temple Emanuel.
The Board is comprised of congregants from a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise.
